1.         Cleft (= medial depression) tapering and V-shaped. epiproct with more than one spine, or             with a posterior accessory cusp near the tip of the single spine, or with both these; sclerotized             margins of the central depression of the 9th tergite nearly parallel throughout most of their             length, broadly rounded anteriorly, the whole being irregular U-shaped.  Zealeuctra fraxina

            Cleft distinctly U-shaped in anterior half. Distal portion of the epiproct one simple tapered             spine; sclerotized margins at least moderately convergent anteriorly. . . . . . . . . .Z. claasseni
